I have been a performer and storyteller longer than I can remember. Starting at 3, and my first show as a tiny dancer, the spotlight hit me, applause sounded, and I was hooked for life. The thing that amuses me now, except for dancing, is how little training I’ve actually had. I just always believed I could do it, and after a ballet scholarship won me a year of college, a lucky break took me off to New York to National Television, Off Broadway Musicals, and Modeling, where all my childhood dreams came true. The real miracle is that at that early age, early 20’s, I became aware of longing for something more.
Natural child birth and the raising of two sons became the next fulfilling chapter. When I returned to ‘the industry’ I learned filmmaking by starting at the bottom of the crew list, and working my way up to direct 3 award winning documentaries, writing two books and a screenplay that actually got made and shown in theaters.
Now, at long last, I am acting again. I am a Social Media Granfluencer, both playing Mabel dancing on table's in Retirement House, with over 10 Million fans on all the Social Media Platforms, and as a Live Streamer on Tic Tok with 8 K and counting. I recommend that you embrace aging. It’s full of surprises and fun, but don’t get tricked into getting old.
Playing Mabel in Retirement House has made me a Social Media Influencer, and a comedic actress. I was hired for 2 shoots 3 1/2 years ago, and today we are still going strong with over 10 Million followers.
Because of that success, Tic Tok invited me to do a daily live stream. I relish the opportunity to encourage social media participates, both young and old, to embrace aging but not to be tricked into ‘getting old’’ Life is a gift, do not miss being alive!
